Welcome. I suppose I should start off with a little explination of the contents of this
site.

Creative Destruction. It seems the most concise means to explain how one goes
from playing with matches to painting with fire.

The actual process of making all of the paintings on display within this gallery is
carefully managing the fire/smoke residue that carbonizes onto parchment to
create a design. Lets just say it takes a lot of patience, a lot of knives, screws,
and for the first few years I tried to do this, a lot of time spent hovering over the
kitchen sink. (I've burnt more than my fair share of parchment and canvas trying
it out so -Don't try this at home without adult supervision!)

I'm certain you've noticed the soot residue on your fingers when you run them
through the flames on a candle.

So back to the news now that I have finished that particular desultory rant.

Coming soon will be the release of Andrew Wolter's Novel, "Nightfall".
(www.AndrewWolter.com for more details). The cover art for the novel will
feature a blend of fire art, photography, and digital enhancement. Andrew is an
exceptionally talented linguistical artist transversing multiple genere's and styles.

The site, is obviously still in its creation phase. I hope to have more sections
available soon as well as dates and times of showings and upcomming events.
